About Gabe Sareli
About Gabe Sareli:
I am a semi-professional photographer based out of the South Florida area. I have been taking pictures since I traveled with National Geographic to New Zealand in my senior year of high school. Since then I have fallen in love with being able to share my perspective with others through my photography. This passion comes partially from my difficulty developing my own perspectives throughout my childhood. Growing up with bad vision has given me new pathways to understanding the concept of differing perspectives and the importance of them. I also owe part of my photographic vision to countless mentors, such as my grandfather along with many other incredibly talented photographers, for sharing their passions and experiences with me. I am currently studying at The University of Miami while continuing with my photographic career; shooting both as a hobby as well as professionally for various businesses. Through my photography, I hope that I can share the different perspectives I have developed along with the experiences that have resulted from them. I invite you to see the world through my lens.
About GabeSareli.com:
I have created this website with the intention of sharing my photographic work and the stories behind them. While purchasing prints is certainly not expected, any support goes a long way and helps me to keep doing what I love.
Notable awards and achievements:
Since starting photography I am honored to have been named a finalist in the Youth Travel Photographer of the Year competition and have received a silver key in the Scholastic Art awards for my photograph "Ice Cave." My work has also been featured on prominent Instagram pages and websites such as National Geographic.
